Do I have to use a credit card for payments? Are there any other options?

We will be adding PayPal and eChecks very soon. Right now you must pay with credit cards.

How do I change my password?

Log in to your account and choose the ‘Account Settings’ tab. Under ‘Membership Details’ and next to your username, choose ‘change password’. Type your new password into both boxes and select ‘Save Changes’. Your password has been updated.

How does One Call work?

Clientele:

You can view an individual talent’s profile or band profile and contact them freely. As long as the individual talent or bands are getting paid their required asking rate, you are free to book them as you see fit.

In regards to a work request, you will be asked four major questions.

1.) Location of Event

2.) Genre/Style of Event

3.) Date of the Event

4.) Pricing per individual or band

The site will query the database, and you can send one email to the entire database that your information applies to. Based on your responses, you can book any talent as you see fit.

Individual or Band Talent:

You can re-negotiate as many times as you want until you either cancel the Negotiation or Accept the Offer. If you accept the offer, you are 100% obligated to follow through with your agreement.

How is One Call Entertainment different from the many of other music talent sites available on the internet?

One Call Entertainment is an invitation only referral based service. We contain a talent pool of pre-qualified world class musicians, bands, producers, and engineers. OCE allows users to send post their music, resume, photos, and discography to anyone, negotiate fees. Finally, OCE provides anonymous communication between the client and talent.

How long am I obligated to OCE after I sign up?

When you sign up, you will receive 2 free months of membership. This will allow us to build our community with you. Initial sign up is for the first 6 months.

Although, if there is any complaints, and you would like to cancel, pleas let us know. We want you here only if you wan to be here.

How long will it take for someone to respond to a Work Request?

We ask all talent members to try and respond to Work Requests within 24 – 48 hours. If talent members do not respond to your Work Request, you can Cancel the Work Request at anytime.

How many talent members can I send Work Requests to?

You may send Work Requests to many talent members or just one. It is all based on the categories you specify in your search.

I forgot my password. How do I get into my account?

Head over to our forgotten password page. Enter in the e-mail address for your account. We will send you an e-mail with a special link allowing you to reset your password. The e-mail will come from “OneCall System”, so if you can’t find it in your inbox, don’t forget to check your Spam/Junk folder.

I play more than one instrument professionally. How can I show that?

There will be options within your profile to add instruments or vocal options. As you know, many people play multiple instruments and have multiple talents. Some people will want to be hired as both a vocalist and a guitar player, for example. You can start with one profile and add to it to create multiple profiles for your other instruments or expertise.

I want to advertise here! How do I do that?

If you are interested in advertising your venue, club, instrumentation, or service to the OCE community, please email advertising@onecallentertainment.com and an OCE representative will contact you about our rates and availability.

I'm in a band or have an ensemble, can I sign up?

Yes. In the OCE Registration forms, the 2nd field allows you to sign up with a “Band Profile”. Group signup can be for bands and ensembles. The way it works is, one person is designated to be the Group Leader and that person will all messaging for the Group and be responsible for paying the group.

I'm registered, but I don't show up in searches... why?

Searches are based on information created in your Profiles. Either you didn’t create or complete a profile or certain fields within your profile are not completed or saved.

What account type do I pick?

Musician Account: If you are a professional musician seeking work in either live, studio, or tour this account will best meet your requirements. You will be able to upload pictures, video, tour availability, working rates, and your resume, to be able to be viewed by our national database of clients.

Band Account: If you are a professional live or touring band seeking work for showcases, live shows, or extended periods of touring, this account will best meet your requirements. You will be able to upload pictures, video, tour availability, working rates, past dates, and your resume, to be able to be viewed by our national database of clients.

What does it cost to join?

There is a one-time initial registration fee of $30. This pays for 1,000 double-sided glossy custom business cards ($65.00 value), server fees, email address, website, and discounted gear costs. After the initial set up, we charge our individual talent a monthly fee of $14.95, and bands $19.95.

Clientele will be charged based their selected search criteria ($34.95, $49.95, $74.95)

One Call Entertainment takes no commissions, and allow the talent and clientele to interact freely to create, foster, and network for the best relationship possible.

What if I have lots of credits on allmusic.com, but they aren't from Major Labels?

If you seriously believe that you should be considered for our eTalent database and have done a great deal of work on professional level music projects – send us an eMail to applications@OneCallEntertainment.com and explain your situation to us.

What if I have lots of credits, but they aren't listed on allmusic.com?

We understand that websites such as AllMusic.com and ArtistDirect.com are not infallible and we understand that many credits such as Indie and Post Production credits are hard to validate. We evaluate every talent sign-up individually. If you feel you belong in our talent database and have an established career as a session musician or engineer, then signup, send us a note to applications@OneCallEntertainment.com and we will get back to you ASAP.

What is a Work Request?

A Work Request functions much like a customized bulletin. The Work Request allows the person you are looking to hire to evaluate your event, your date, and your pricing, etc. The Work Request process allows people to consider Accepting or Declining each job as it comes to them. Work Requests to Talent are free. Work Requests are serious about hiring talent members and not wasting their valuable time.

What is OCE's return/refund policy?

All talent and clientèle are contractually obligated for the first six months of membership. Under certain circumstances One Call Entertainment will accept a written request for termination from the member.

What is the preferred browser for OCE?

Firefox, Safari, and IE6 are the preferred web browsers for use with www.OneCallEntertainment.com.

What serves as an acceptable resume/profile?

A.) 2-5 Pictures

B.) 1-2 Videos

C.) 2 or more national tours (Artist/Year) OR Discography containing 3-5 Released Albums (will be screened using www.allmusic.com)

D.) Full Resume including past tour, live, and studio performances by year (to be submitted in .doc or .pdf formats)

Why does OCE require a resume and profile?

A resume is the most powerful mode of communication when dealing with clientele. The clients like knowing who and where you have played in the past. A resume is the most clear-cut and straightforward way to communicate your playing expertise and provide a record of your history.

Why is there a monthly fee?

One Call Entertainment is a community of professionals. There are many of avenues to pursue entertainment, but OCE is the easiest and most effective way to contact the best talent within each city. The cost per month to the talent is minimal, and the cost to the clients allows OCE to advertise, provide, and continue to recruit the best talent in each city.
